DESCRIPTION

172208 is an IP panel crimp jack connector designed for RG58/U cable termination. The connector features a 5/8-24UNEF-2A threaded interface with a panel mounting configuration using four Ø3.20 mm mounting holes. The contact pin is constructed from phosphor bronze with gold plating, while the ferrule is made from copper with Nexcote coating, ensuring reliable electrical performance and corrosion resistance. The crimped ferrule has a hex crimp size of 0.213 inches and the contact pin has a hex crimp size of 0.100 inches. This connector is commonly used in RF and microwave applications requiring secure panel-mount connections with consistent impedance matching for coaxial cable systems.
