DESCRIPTION

CD143A-SR12 is a steering/TVS diode array designed to provide ESD, EFT, and surge protection for external ports of portable electronic devices such as cell phones, handheld electronics, and personal computers. The device protects Vcc and two data lines with ESD protection exceeding 25 kV, enabling data ports to withstand a minimum of ±8 kV Contact / ±15 kV Air Discharge per IEC 61000-4-2 standards. It features a working peak voltage of 12 V, breakdown voltage minimum of 13.3 V at 1 mA, and clamping voltage maximum of 30 V at 16 A peak pulse current. The CD143A-SR12 is packaged in a compact SOT-143 form factor measuring 2.80 mm × 1.20 mm, operates over a temperature range of -55°C to 150°C, and meets IEC 61000-4-2 (ESD), IEC 61000-4-4 (EFT), and IEC 61000-4-5 (Surge) requirements. This RoHS-compliant, lead-free, and halogen-free device is ideal for Ethernet 10/100/1000 Base-T, FireWire, USB, and video/graphics card applications.
