The MF-RX185-2 is a PTC resettable fuse with radial leaded design manufactured by Bourns, providing automatic overcurrent protection in electronic circuits. It features a maximum voltage rating of 60V and maximum current rating of 40A, with a hold current (Ihold) of 1.85A at 23°C and a trip current (Itrip) of 3.70A at 23°C. The device exhibits an initial resistance of 0.08 Ohms and a post-trip resistance of 0.12 Ohms (1 hour at 23°C), with a maximum time to trip of 9.25 seconds at 5 times the hold current. The MF-RX185-2 is constructed with cured, flame-retardant epoxy polymer insulation meeting UL 94V-0 requirements, is RoHS compliant and halogen-free, and operates reliably over a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
