DESCRIPTION

53-77-4G is a Thermalsil III thermally conductive silicone rubber insulator designed for TO-220 package heat sink interfaces. The product is composed of a silicone elastomer binder with thermally conductive filler and is reinforced with glass cloth to resist tearing and cut-through from transistor or heat sink burrs. It measures 19.05 mm (0.750") × 12.70 mm (0.500") with a thickness of 0.152 mm (0.006") and is grey-green in color. The material eliminates the need for grease application and conforms to mounting surfaces under clamping pressure for optimum heat conduction. This insulator is ideal for applications requiring electrical isolation between power semiconductors and heat sinks while maintaining efficient thermal transfer in industrial and consumer electronics.
