DESCRIPTION

The 942C20S1K-F is a Type 942 round, axial polypropylene film capacitor specifically designed for high pulse and snubber circuits. It provides a capacitance of 0.01 µF with a voltage rating of 2000 Vdc or 500 Vac. Key electrical characteristics include a very high dV/dt of 5137 V/µs, a peak current rating of 51 A, and a typical ESR of 50 mΩ at 100 kHz. This component utilizes a self-healing hybrid construction of polypropylene film and metal foils to achieve superior RMS current ratings. Due to its low inductance and high pulse handling capability, it is ideal for use in high-frequency power electronics and high peak current circuits.
