DESCRIPTION

MDA-2-1/2 is a time-delay ceramic tube fuse designed for circuit protection in electrical systems. It features a 1/4" × 1-1/4" (6.3 mm × 32 mm) physical size with nickel-plated brass endcap construction and is rated for 2.5 amperes at 250V AC with a 200A AC interrupting rating and 10,000A DC interrupting rating. The fuse exhibits a typical DC cold resistance of 0.06685 ohms and a typical melting I²t of 28.9 A·Sec, with a voltage drop of 0.213V at rated current. It meets UL standard 248-14 and is available with optional axial leads, making it suitable for board-level applications requiring hermetic sealing or aqueous cleaning compatibility.
