DESCRIPTION

The 25BP22-G-1-16F is a Series 25 multi-deck mechanical encoder manufactured by Grayhill, designed for applications requiring rotational position encoding with gray code output. This encoder features a 22.5° angle of throw providing 16 positions, with shorting contacts and PC terminals spaced 0.100" on center for reliable electrical switching. The device operates over a temperature range of -65°C to +85°C with a life expectancy of 50,000 cycles at rated loads, supporting switching loads of 150 mA at 120 Vac or 150 mA at 28 Vdc. The compact package measures 0.865" square with a 1/4" diameter shaft and flatted mounting bushing, making it suitable for panel-mount applications requiring precise position feedback in industrial control systems, instrumentation, and automation equipment.
