DESCRIPTION

The M80-8890405 is a Datamate 2 mm pitch crimp DIL socket assembly with large bore (22 AWG) designed for reliable electrical interconnection in industrial and electronic equipment. It features a glass-filled PBT UL94V-0 moulding with beryllium copper clips and copper alloy shell, finished with nickel and 0.30 µm gold clip with 0.28 µm gold shell plating. The connector is rated for 3.0 A maximum at 25 °C and 2.2 A at 85 °C, with a working voltage of 120 V AC/DC and voltage proof of 360 V AC/DC, delivering initial contact resistance of 20 mO maximum and insulation resistance of 1000 mO minimum. It withstands 500 mechanical operations with insertion and withdrawal forces of 2.8 N maximum and 1.8 N maximum respectively, and operates reliably across -55 °C to +125 °C. This connector is ideal for applications requiring robust, repeatable mating cycles in harsh environments and demanding electrical performance.
