DESCRIPTION

The 102MG11 is a sintered Alnico VIII bar magnet designed for sensor actuation. It measures 17.02 mm in length by 7.87 mm in diameter and includes an 8 x 32 threaded shaft for easy installation. This magnet offers good physical strength, excellent resistance to demagnetization, and operates reliably over a temperature range of -40 °C to 140 °C. It provides a typical magnetic field of 470 Gauss at a 2.54 mm gap distance. Common applications include industrial and medical equipment for tasks like position sensing, speed measurement, and lid closure detection.
