DESCRIPTION

The GKCA14L7 is a rugged, metal key-operated safety interlock switch used to monitor the position of gates, guards, and doors. It is configured with 2NC/2NO slow-action, break-before-make (BBM) contacts made of silver and features a 0.5-14 NPT conduit connection. This model includes a single yellow LED pilot light for status indication and is operated with a 90Â° key that can be inserted from the front or top of the switch head. Housed in an epoxy-coated die-cast zinc body sealed to IP67, it is designed for safety functions up to SIL3. Common applications include interrupting control circuits on machine tools, plastic molding equipment, and robotic cells when a guard is opened.
