DESCRIPTION

051521-0006 is a Combo D Series D-Subminiature connector offering mixed contact layouts for versatile signal and power transmission. The connector features a 7W2 contact arrangement with 5 contacts of size 20 and 2 empty size 8 cavities, supporting wire gauges from AWG 8 to 26. It is rated for 500 mating cycles with a maximum signal contact current of 7.5 A and maintains a contact resistance of 10 mO maximum. The connector operates reliably across a temperature range of -55°C to +150°C and provides a dielectric withstanding voltage of 500 VAC at sea level. With its steel shell finished in yellow chromate over zinc, thermoplastic insulator (PCT UL 94V-0), and gold-over-nickel plated copper alloy contacts, this connector is well-suited for industrial instrumentation, aerospace, and military applications requiring robust, mixed-signal interconnection.
