DESCRIPTION

The MCP3423-E/MF is a low-noise, high-accuracy 18-bit delta-sigma analog-to-digital converter featuring two differential input channels. It includes an on-board 2.048V reference with low drift, a programmable gain amplifier (PGA) with selectable gains of x1, x2, x4, or x8, and performs self-calibration for offset and gain with each conversion. The device offers programmable data rates, such as 3.75 SPS at 18-bit resolution, and communicates via a two-wire I2C-compatible serial interface. Operating from a single 2.7V to 5.5V supply within an extended temperature range of -40°C to +125°C, it is ideal for applications like portable instrumentation, temperature sensing, and weigh scales.
