DESCRIPTION

The 970-015-040R011 is a 15-position D-Sub backshell kit from the 970 series, designed to provide robust housing and strain relief for cable connections. Constructed from die-cast zinc alloy with a black enamel finish, it operates over a wide temperature range of -40°C to +120°C. The kit includes two backshell halves, two 4-40 thumbscrews, housing screws, and a set of compression inserts to accommodate various cable sizes. These inserts support cable diameters of 4mm, 5mm, 7mm, and 9mm, with a maximum overall cable diameter of 11.81mm. This comprehensive kit is ideal for industrial and commercial applications requiring a durable and reliable D-Sub connector enclosure.
