DESCRIPTION

The TAP650JR25E is a high-power, low-profile resistor designed for demanding power applications. It provides a resistance of 0.25Ω with a tolerance of ±5% and can dissipate up to 650W of power at an 85°C case temperature when properly heatsinked. This component features a special low-inductance design (80nH typical) and is encapsulated in a resin-filled epoxy casing for high insulation resistance and dielectric strength. This RoHS compliant resistor is ideal for use in variable speed drives, power supplies, motor controls, and robotics.
