DESCRIPTION
The MOCD223M is a dual-channel Darlington output optocoupler designed for high-density surface-mount applications. This device features a high current transfer ratio of at least 500% with a 1 mA forward current and guarantees a minimum collector-emitter breakdown voltage of 30 V. Each channel consists of a gallium arsenide infrared emitting diode optically coupled to a monolithic silicon photodarlington detector, all housed within a plastic SOIC-8 package. The MOCD223M is ideally suited for interfacing low power logic circuits, coupling systems with different potentials, telecommunications equipment, and solid state relays.
