DESCRIPTION

The 2985974 is an INTERBUS proxy designed to seamlessly integrate a complete INTERBUS system into a higher-level control system with PROFINET functionality. It features an integrated 4-port Ethernet switch and supports PROFINET update rates as low as 1 ms. The device handles data exchange, diagnostics, and parameterization via the PROFINET protocol and supports LLDP for network topology detection. Using GSDML files, it can be easily integrated and parameterized in any controller with PROFINET functionality, making it ideal for connecting INTERBUS systems to modern PROFINET networks.
