DESCRIPTION

The 5145 is a completely insulated, low-profile double banana plug shorting bar designed to mate with standard double banana jacks. It is rated for a current of 15 Amperes, has an installed resistance of less than 1.5 milliohms, and operates at temperatures up to +50°C. The device features nickel-plated brass plug bodies and a shorting bar, with beryllium copper springs for reliable contact. Its clear polypropylene insulation is molded over the assembly and includes a finger ridge for easy insertion and removal, making it ideal for shorting circuits in test and measurement setups.
