The AP12-1-64-702 is a two-pole, fully sealed magnetic circuit protector designed for DC applications with short time delay characteristics and a nominal current rating of 7.0 amperes. This hydraulic magnetic circuit protector combines accurate, reliable circuit protection with inverse time delays and trip-free features, maintaining consistent trip current performance across a wide temperature span unlike thermal protectors. The unit features a DC series resistance of 0.025 ohms for short time delay operation and operates with trip time characteristics of 0.9 to 10 seconds at 125% rated current, 0.2 to 1.7 seconds at 200% rated current, and faster response at higher overload levels. The protector is available in toggle configuration with mounting provisions including a 3/8-32 NEF-2B hex nut and keyway specifications, weighing approximately 1.8 ounces (49 grams) per pole.
