DESCRIPTION

102160-9 is a universal ejection pin header designed for ribbon and flat flex wire connector applications. This 40-position connector features a right-angle PCB mount configuration with a 2.54 x 2.54 mm (0.100 x 0.100 in) centerline matrix and a standard profile. The header includes a 0.64 mm (0.025 in) square post size, 2.79 mm (0.110 in) solder post length, and is compatible with PCB thicknesses of 1.57 mm (0.062 in). The shrouded, 4-sided housing is constructed from black thermoplastic with a UL 94V-0 flammability rating, while the contact mating area features gold over nickel plating. This AMP-LATCH header is ideal for applications requiring reliable ribbon cable interconnections with wave solder capability up to 265°C.
