DESCRIPTION

The 103166-8 is a shrouded PCB header connector designed for reliable interconnection in standard electronic assemblies. It features 20 positions arranged in 2 rows with a 0.100 inch (2.54 mm) centerline spacing and mating post length of 8.08 mm, providing secure right-angle mounting to printed circuit boards. The connector incorporates gold-plated (3U) square contacts with phosphor bronze base material, a thermoplastic GF housing with UL 94V-0 flammability rating, and detent window mating locks for positive engagement. Electrical performance includes 5,000 MO insulation resistance and 750 V dielectric withstanding voltage, with operating temperature range of -55°C to +105°C. This connector is ideal for general-purpose PCB interconnection, data transmission, and industrial control applications where robust, cost-effective connectivity is required.
