DESCRIPTION

The 103185-3 is a 3-position single-row unshrouded breakaway header connector designed for wire-to-board applications in personal computer systems. It features .100 inch (2.54 mm) center spacing with .025 inch (0.64 mm) square copper alloy posts plated with tin or gold over nickel, and a polyester 94V-0 rated white housing. The connector utilizes slotted contacts for insulation displacement (IDC) terminal technique, enabling one-step assembly without additional crimping or soldering. Contacts are lubricated to prevent fretting corrosion, and the headers are end-to-end stackable for flexible system integration. This product is commonly used in computer peripheral connections, expansion cards, and modular electronic assemblies where reliable, cost-effective wire termination is required.
