DESCRIPTION

The 104362-2 is a vertical through-hole header assembly designed for the AMPMODU MTE interconnect system, featuring swaged tall posts with 15 µ" gold plating for enhanced durability and reliability. This header is compatible with both IDC (Insulation Displacement Contact) and crimp snap-in receptacle assemblies, supporting 2–25 positions per row with 100 mil centerline spacing. The product operates across a wide temperature range of -65°C to +105°C and accommodates wire gauges from #22 to #30 AWG, with a maximum current rating of 3 amps per single contact in free air at 267 V operating voltage. The swage option on posts provides superior retention in printed circuit boards, making it ideal for high-reliability applications in medical instruments, automotive controls, computers, and telecommunications equipment.
