DESCRIPTION

104479-2 is an AMPMODU Short Point crimp snap-in wire-applied receptacle contact designed for use in the AMPMODU interconnection system. This contact features Plating C finish and is designed for 24-20 AWG (0.2-0.5 mm²) wire sizes with an insulation diameter range of 0.025-0.060 inches (0.64-1.52 mm). The contact mates with 0.025" (0.64 mm) square posts as short as 0.169" (4.29 mm) and provides a current rating of 3 amperes with a maximum termination resistance of 12 milliohms. These contacts snap into AMPMODU MTE single-row housings and can be used in double-row housing configurations on 0.100" (2.54 mm) centers, making them ideal for wire-crimp interconnection systems requiring reliable, quick-connect and disconnect capability.
