DESCRIPTION

104479-5 is a Short Point crimp snap-in wire-applied receptacle contact for the AMPMODU interconnection system manufactured by TE Connectivity. This contact is specifically designed for 24-20 AWG wire with Plating C (gold) finish and features a unique locking latch design that helps prevent latch protrusion through the latch window. The contact snaps into AMPMODU MTE single-row housings and is compatible with 0.025 inch square posts, with the ability to mate with posts as short as 0.169 inches. It delivers a contact current rating of 3 amperes with a maximum termination resistance of 12 milliohms and is recognized under UL Component Program File No. E28476 and CSA File No. LR7189. This contact is ideal for applications requiring reliable, quick-connect/disconnect wire terminations in modular interconnection systems used in industrial electronics and telecommunications equipment.
