DESCRIPTION

104894-8 is a right-angle double-row header connector designed for PCB interconnection with 0.050-inch (1.27 mm) grid spacing. The connector features 80 positions arranged in two rows with a 0.025-inch (0.635 mm) spacing between rows, and is constructed with an LCP (liquid crystal polymer) black housing, brass contacts, and copper alloy holddown elements. The connector includes plated-through holes with localized gold plating on post tips and tin-lead or tin plating on solder leads, with nickel underlayer for enhanced durability and solderability. This connector is suitable for high-density interconnection applications in computing, telecommunications, and industrial equipment where reliable double-row signal distribution is required.
