DESCRIPTION

106081-1 is a Type C vertical male connector designed for the AMP Z-PACK 2mm HM Hard Metric Interconnection System. This 5+2 row short tail version features 55 signal pins with guiding features and is designed for use with female connectors having ground return shields and contacts in rows z and f. The housing is constructed from glass filled polyester (gray, UL94 V-0 rated) with phosphor-bronze signal contacts featuring gold over nickel plating (0.8µm Au over 1.3µm Ni) in the contact area. The connector is end stackable without change in contact pitch and mates with right angle female and vertical female connectors. Common applications include backplane interconnections in telecommunications, computing, and industrial equipment requiring reliable high-density signal connections.
