DESCRIPTION

1-102154-0 is an AMP-LATCH universal ejection pin header designed for ribbon cable interconnect applications. This 50-position header features a 2.54 x 2.54 mm (0.100 x 0.100 in) centerline matrix with square contacts that are preloaded and gold-plated in the mating area. The vertical PCB mounting orientation header has a standard profile with 4-sided shrouded housing made of thermoplastic with glass fiber reinforcement, rated UL 94V-0 for flammability. It supports wave solder processes up to 265°C and is designed for use with 1.57 mm (0.062 in) PCB thickness. Common applications include ribbon cable connections in electronic systems requiring reliable, high-density interconnects with military-grade alignment features.
