DESCRIPTION

1-102159-0 is a universal ejection pin header connector designed for ribbon and flat flex cable interconnection applications. This AMP-LATCH connector features 50 positions arranged in a standard profile with a 2.54 × 2.54 mm centerline matrix and right-angle PCB mounting orientation. The connector incorporates a shrouded 4-sided housing made of thermoplastic material with UL 94V-0 flammability rating, gold-plated square contacts over nickel, and center dual polarizing bars for mating polarization. With a 0.64 mm post size, 2.79 mm solder tail length, and tin-lead over nickel plating, this connector is wave solder capable to 240°C, 260°C, and 265°C, making it suitable for automated assembly processes. The product is 5 of 6 EU RoHS/ELV compliant and is commonly used in data acquisition systems, instrumentation, and industrial control applications requiring reliable high-density interconnection.
