DESCRIPTION

The 111196-7 is a 16-position, double-row ribbon cable receptacle for high-density cable-to-board applications. As part of the AMPMODU System 50 family, it features contacts on a .050 x .100 inch centerline and is designed to terminate .025 inch centerline ribbon cable, including 30 AWG solid or 32 AWG stranded conductors. The preassembled housing and cover include stainless steel latches for positive locking to mating shrouded headers, ensuring a secure connection. Contacts are made from a high-conductivity copper alloy with gold plating for enhanced performance and reliability, making it ideal for systems where space and connection integrity are critical.
