DESCRIPTION

The 1-1376388-2 is a Type B red-keyed power key connector plug housing designed for wire-to-board applications with 2 contact positions. This connector features a 5.0 mm contact centerline spacing and achieves a compact 20.7 mm mated height, providing ergonomic assembly and enhanced contact seating to the PCB header. The connector supports wire gauges from 26 to 16 AWG with insulation diameters ranging from 1.3 mm to 3.1 mm, and is rated for a maximum current of 10 A per line and 300 Volts AC operation across a temperature range of -30°C to +105°C. The red keying and color differentiation prevent mis-mating with other connector types, while optional double lock plates provide terminal position assurance (TPA) to ensure full contact seating and prevent disengagement under external pressure. This connector is ideal for power distribution applications in industrial equipment, consumer electronics, and automotive systems where reliable wire-to-board connections are essential.
