DESCRIPTION

The 1-1634221-2 is a D-SUB HD20 vertical 37-pin plug connector featuring 4-40 UNC inserts and board lock option, designed for reliable high-density interconnections. It is rated for a continuous current of 3A with a voltage rating of 250VDC and maintains an insulation resistance of 1000 MO minimum at 500VDC for 2 minutes. The connector operates reliably across a temperature range of -55°C to +105°C and features brass contacts with 15 µm minimum gold plating on contact areas and 100 µm minimum tin plating on solder tails, along with nickel underplating for enhanced durability. The housing is constructed from UL94V-0 rated thermoplastic in black, with a steel shell and brass board lock mechanism torqued to 5 kg-cm maximum. This connector is commonly used in industrial control systems, telecommunications equipment, and data acquisition applications where robust, high-pin-count connections are required.
