DESCRIPTION

1-179228-2 is a 12-position receptacle assembly designed for cable-mounted power and signal connector applications. This connector features dimensions of A=22.0 mm, B=24.8 mm, and C=26.0 mm, with a natural-colored thermoplastic housing that is also available in blue, yellow, and black. The receptacle assembly is compatible with crimp contacts for wire sizes ranging from 26-22 AWG (0.12-0.35 mm²) with insulation diameters of 0.93-1.5 mm. Part of the ELCON Drawer Series, this RoHS-compliant connector is ideal for low noise power supplies, switch-mode power supplies (SMPS), and redundant power systems requiring reliable hot-plug capability.
