DESCRIPTION

1-2221860-1 is a sealed AMPLIMITE high-density D-subminiature plug connector from the Series 90 product line, designed for applications requiring water and dust ingress protection. This connector features Shell Size 1 with 15 positions and is supplied without contacts, allowing for custom contact configuration using Size 22 rear-release crimp contacts. The connector is environmentally sealed to IP67 rating and operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C, with materials including a cadmium-plated steel shell, glass-filled polyester insert, and fluorosilicone rubber sealing grommets. Designed to meet MIL-DTL-24308 standards and intermateable with standard D-subminiature connectors, this product is ideal for aerospace, defense, and marine applications where reliable performance in harsh environments is critical.
