DESCRIPTION

1-2299960-1 is a K-type thermocouple tab connector designed for free-hanging applications, enabling easy connection with thermocouple wire. It features a unique spring clamp termination system that provides outstanding connectivity compared to traditional screw-type termination, with support for wire sizes from AWG#32 to AWG#20. The connector operates within a temperature range of -20°C to 220°C and incorporates a touch-proof design supporting IP20 degree of protection. The push-on lock concept with a metal-locking mechanism prevents unintentional unmating and provides an audible click when mated. Common applications include semiconductor machinery, injection molding machines, and machine tool equipment where reliable temperature measurement is essential.
