DESCRIPTION

1-2308340-3 is a D-Sub backshell designed for 9-pin and 15-pin D-Subminiature connectors with a UNC 4-40 thread specification. This backshell features a long knurled screw lock mechanism (50 mm length) and a 225° cable outlet configuration for flexible cable routing. The product is constructed from die-cast metal with full metal parts ensuring fire and smoke compliance, and provides 360° EMI/EMC shielding suitable for EN50155 systems. It supports two strain relief cable exit options: crimp inserts for high vibration and extreme environmental conditions with torsion-proof performance, or screw strain relief for quick installation without special tooling. The backshell's robust construction and multiple cable outlet angles make it ideal for industrial applications requiring reliable connector assembly in tight spaces and harsh operating environments.
