DESCRIPTION

1241000-1 is a DIN tubular end sleeve with plastic collar designed for reliable connection of 0.50 mm² flexible leads using screw or spring clamps. The ferrule features a copper sleeve with galvanic tin plating and a polypropylene plastic collar rated up to +120°C, conforming to DIN 46228 Part 4 specifications. The individual wire strands are held securely by the ferrule and crimped with AMP precision tools to form a gas-tight connection. The color-coded insulation protects the crimped connection from contact damage. This product is supplied in strip form with a strip length of 10.0 mm and is commonly used in automotive powertrain systems, safety and security systems, and body and chassis systems where high reliability and gas-tight connections are required.
