DESCRIPTION

1241378-1 is a receptacle contact for the AMP MCP 1.5K Single Wire Sealing System (SWS) interconnection system, engineered for automotive electrical and electronic applications. The contact is manufactured from CuNiSi material with selective plating options (tin, gold, or silver) and is designed for wire sizes in the 0.20–0.35 mm² range with insulation diameters of 1.1–1.4 mm. It features a contact resistance of =2 mO in the new state, maximum mating force of 6 N, and maximum unmating force of 6 N, with mating cycles ranging from 10 cycles (tin plated) to 100 cycles (gold plated) depending on the finish. The contact operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +130°C (tin plated), -40°C to +140°C (silver plated), or -40°C to +150°C (gold plated), making it suitable for demanding automotive powertrain, safety, and convenience systems requiring high reliability and long-term durability.
