DESCRIPTION

The 1-338095-2 is a crimp-on snap-in (COSI) connector from the TE Connectivity Micro-MaTch connector family, designed for wire-to-board and board-to-board interconnection applications. This connector features a 1.27 mm contact centerline spacing and is compatible with 28 AWG ribbon cable (0.08 mm² to 0.09 mm²) with tin-plated contact design. The connector incorporates a positioning spring in the female contact that absorbs relative movements caused by vibrations and thermal expansion, creating gas-tight connections that are resistant to fretting corrosion—the traditional failure mode in tin-plated connections.
