DESCRIPTION

1432826-1 is a single-pole double-throw (SPDT) relay manufactured by Tyco Electronics featuring a 1 Form C contact arrangement with AgSnO (silver tin-oxide) contact material. The relay is rated for a maximum continuous current of 40A at 23°C (35A at 85°C), with a maximum make current of 90A at 16 VDC and maximum break current of 40A at 16 VDC resistive load. The contact millivolt drop is 200mV at 35A on normally open contacts and 250mV at 20A on normally closed contacts after switching, with an initial breakdown voltage of 500V RMS between contacts and coil. The relay offers an electrical life of 100,000 operations at 40A and 14 VDC on the normally open contact, and a mechanical life of 10 million operations with no contact load, making it suitable for industrial control, automotive, and power distribution applications requiring reliable high-current switching.
