DESCRIPTION

1-480324-0 is a 16-circuit matrix socket housing connector designed for the 5.0 mm Power Key Connectors (5.0 PKC) wire-to-board system. The connector features MM (metal-to-metal) positive lock mechanism with pre-tin duplex finish plating (.00030 min. gold in mating area, matte tin on solder tail end over .000050 min. nickel underplate). It has a compact mated height of 19.4 mm and operates with a 5.0 mm contact centerline. The housing is constructed from UL94V-2 rated nylon in natural color, providing excellent flame resistance and durability. This connector is commonly used in power circuits for home appliances, particularly gas appliances, where reliable electrical connections and compact design are essential.
