DESCRIPTION
The 1-480700-8 is a 3-circuit Universal MATE-N-LOK II plug housing connector designed for wire-to-board power applications. It features a 5.0 mm contact centerline spacing and positive lock mechanism with a compact mated height of 19.4 mm, making it suitable for space-constrained installations. The connector is constructed from UL94V-2 rated nylon in natural color and incorporates a double lock plate for complete contact loading, with locking levers surrounded by protective walls to prevent wire tangling. The housing is designed to release bubbles created during potting processes and includes housing lances to further prevent contact tangling. This connector is recognized by Underwriters Laboratories (File No. E28476) and certified by Canadian Standards Association (File No. LR7189), making it ideal for power circuits in home appliances, particularly gas appliances, and other commercial applications requiring reliable power distribution.
