DESCRIPTION

The 1-480702-2 is a 4-circuit Universal MATE-N-LOK II plug housing connector designed for wire-to-board power applications. It features a 5.0 mm power key connector (5.0 PKC) with a compact mated height of 19.4 mm and a positive lock mechanism that provides secure contact insertion with a clear clicking sound. The housing is constructed from UL94V-2 rated nylon in natural color, with a contact centerline spacing of 1.050 inches (26.67 mm) and pre-tin duplex plating on the contacts. The connector incorporates a double lock plate for complete loading of contacts, locking levers surrounded by protective walls to prevent wire tangling, and bubble-release design for potted applications. This connector is commonly used in power circuits for home appliances, particularly gas appliances, where reliable electrical connections and compact form factors are essential.
