DESCRIPTION

1-5102162-0 is a 50-position vertical pin header designed for ribbon cable interconnect solutions. This header features a soldertail length of 0.450 inches (9.09 mm) and utilizes Plating Code A, which consists of gold flash over palladium-nickel plate with 0.000015 inch (0.00038 mm) minimum total on mating surfaces and 0.000100 inch (0.00254 mm) minimum tin plate on the soldertails over nickel underplate. The connector is designed to mate with ribbon cable receptacles and is part of TE Connectivity's System 50 product line with 0.100" x 0.100" (2.54 x 2.54 mm) pitch. This RoHS compliant component is suitable for board-to-board and cable-to-board applications in electronic systems requiring reliable ribbon cable connections.
