DESCRIPTION
The 1586105-3 is a VAL-U-LOK single row mating receptacle housing designed for wire-to-board connector applications. This 3-position receptacle housing features UL 94V-2 nylon construction with brass contacts plated in tin (lead-free) and is compatible with existing VAL-U-LOK header connectors. The connector is rated for a maximum mating force of 1.55 lb (6.90 N) per circuit and a minimum unmating force of 0.11 lb (0.49 N) per circuit, with contact retention of 4.88 lb (21.71 N) minimum per contact. The housing is rated for 30 mating and unmating cycles and is intermateable with Molex Mini Fit Jr. connectors. Common applications include household appliances, HVAC systems, vending machines, gaming equipment, and lighting systems.
