DESCRIPTION

160296 is a pre-insulated PLASTI-GRIP ring tongue terminal designed for secure electrical connections in industrial applications. This terminal features a 5/16 stud size and is compatible with 16-14 AWG (1.04-2.62 mm²) wire sizes. The terminal has a width of 12.70 mm (0.500 inch) and length of 30.70 mm (1.185 inch), with a minimum wire barrel inside diameter of 6.30 mm (0.248 inch). Constructed with a copper body per ASTM B-152 and tin plating per ASTM B-545, it offers excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. The PVC insulation sleeve provides good dielectric strength rated for 600V and 105°C operation with UL/CSA approval, making it suitable for panel boxes, motors, switchgear, power supplies, HVAC, and lighting applications.
