DESCRIPTION

160300 is a pre-insulated PLASTI-GRIP ring tongue terminal designed for secure electrical connections to 1/2 inch studs. This terminal features PVC insulation that provides good dielectric strength and supports the wire insulation to prevent bare wire exposure. It accommodates wire sizes from 16-14 AWG (1.04-2.62 mm²) and has a width of 594 mil (15.09 mm) and length of 1.433 inches (36.40 mm). The terminal includes serrations in the crimp barrel for maximum contact and tensile strength after crimping, with a wire barrel minimum inside diameter of 0.248 inch (6.30 mm). Common applications include panel boxes, motors, switchgear, power supplies, HVAC systems, and general industrial wiring where reliable 600V 105°C UL/CSA rated connections are required.
