DESCRIPTION

163081-1 is a Multimate Type III Size 16 pin contact assembly designed for crimp-style wire termination applications. It features a brass pin body with a stainless steel spring and finish option 7 (electro-tin plated), supporting wire ranges of 0.75-1.50 mm² (18-16 AWG) and insulation diameters of 2.0-2.5 mm. The contact has a loose piece length of 27.5 mm with a maximum overall dimension of 31.5 mm and includes nickel underplating with electro-tin finish over Zone 3. This pin assembly conforms to TE Connectivity Product Spec 108-10042 and is suitable for controlled environment applications requiring reliable electrical connections.
