DESCRIPTION

1658391-1 is a 2x1 cage and PT connector assembly designed for SFP (Small Form-factor Pluggable) transceiver applications with press fit mounting and standard profile configuration. The assembly features copper alloy contacts with gold plating (0.76µm minimum) over nickel (1.27µm minimum) in the mating area, and tin plating (1.25µm minimum) over nickel flash on other contact areas. The cage is constructed from nickel silver alloy without plating, while the housing utilizes high-temperature LCP and polyester materials, both UL 94V-0 rated in black. Key dimensions include 25.25±0.1mm length, 14±0.1mm width, and 8.95±0.15mm height specifications. This connector assembly is ideal for networking equipment and data communication systems requiring reliable SFP module connections.
