DESCRIPTION

The 1658527-2 is a 6-position, 622 Series female socket connector designed for wire-to-board applications using 26-28 AWG PVC insulated ribbon cable. It features a blue, UL 94V-0 rated glass-filled thermoplastic housing and high-reliability beryllium copper contacts. The contacts are plated with a minimum of 0.000030 inches of gold on the mating end and tin on the termination end, over a nickel underplate. This connector has a .100 x .100 inch mating grid and is military and center polarized. It is commonly used for internal board-to-board or subsystem interconnects in various electronic equipment, mating with universal and low-profile pin headers.
