DESCRIPTION
1658542-1 is an AMPLIMITE HDP-20 series D-subminiature crimp snap-in contact cable connector from TE Connectivity. This connector features a tin plated steel shell with grounding indents and a 94V-0 rated thermoplastic black insert for reliable EMI shielding and flame retardancy. The connector utilizes standard clinch nut mounting and accepts size 20 DF contacts. It is intermateable with any size 20 or 22 D-subminiature connector dimensionally complying with MIL-C-24308. Common applications include industrial machinery, medical instrumentation, computers and peripherals, RAID storage arrays, file servers/routers, and tape storage systems.
